Hot Glass Art by Melissa Vess

My passion for art has been with me since I was a little girl. I have dabbled with photography, painting, drawing and I have a degree from the Art Institute of Colorado. I had never quite found my "niche" in the art world until I began my journey into the flame. Since that time I spend every bit of free time working with glass and trying to improve my skills. I have also developed a strong liking for anything with flames!

My beads are all lovingly created in my wonderful little studio in beautiful Lakewood, Colorado. Originality and quality are my main goals. All of my beads are properly kiln annealed and meticulously cleaned with a dremel diamond reamer. Most of my beads are made on 1/16th mandrels and are made from imported Italian or German glass or boutique glass made in America. All of my work is unconditionally guaranteed. My customers should be as happy with my beads as I am. I welcome custom orders and will do my best to fufill them. If you have seen my work and would like a similiar set, please note that these are original one of a kind pieces and though I can try to duplicate them, they will never be exact.

I am a proud co founder and member of LEST (Lampwork Etc. Street Team), member of LoLa (League of Lampwork Artists) Wet Canvas, Lampwork Etc., Tranquil Beading Oasis,  The Bead Hive, Beads Beads and More Beads,  Fast Friends Studio,  The Mellow Bead, Creative Glass Guild of Etsy and Starving Jewelry Artists.

Always buy your lampwork from a SRA (self representing artist). We all take pride in our original artwork and the quality of our beads.
